I’m going to tell you about one of my worst (but at the same time, the best) trips I have ever done. Last summer my friends and I got an awesome idea, which at first sight looked great. But our desired travel wasn’t what we expected. Let’s begin.
We rented a van for two weeks, we wanted to go abroad and visit countries we have never been in.  “At last we set off!”-I thought. First day, we stayed in a bed and breakfast, which was truly awful: there were spiders on the walls, beds were really uncomfortable, and food was way too disgusting. So we decided to sleep the rest of the journey on our van. But I don’t know what were worse. Sleeping on a seat left us with a horrible backache.
What did we do? We drove until we found a service station, where we got different brochures looking for a camping to stay in. We needed a tent, therefore we bought one, although it wasn’t cheap!
After many dizziness(we hate to spend too much time on a car), finally we could find an esplanade to camp, here in Spain, as we were sick and tired of driving. We took out all our luggage and accomodate on the tent. The following days we were sunbathing –we got the perfect tan- , telling horror stories, fighting with mosquitoes, swimming on a little lake…

At last, we really had a good time. Of course It wasn’t what we had arranged, but since that I strongly believe that improvised plans are the best! So, if you think things are going wrong, wait! With patience and hope everything’s going to be alright.

Don't trust what you see, even salt looks like sugar. Never judge a book by it's cover, neither for good nor for bad. Let's finish with prejudgment for once. How many times have we thought out that someone is an excellent person  just for dressing nice clothes? And how many times (Unfortunately) have we thought out that someone with tattoos is a some lousy guy? Well, Nowadays, when we are all so open-minded and modern, why do we keep on judging and discriminating people with piercings, tattoos or with an unusual clothing?
I don't comprehend which head takes, for instance, not hiring someone with tattoos, with overweight, gothic, or homosexual if he is perfectly qualified for the job. We live in a retrograde and superficial society without realizing the pain that it causes. Hopefully the day where we will all be accepted just how we are arrives soon, because we are all born with the same rights and conditions. No one is better than other person just for having a nice car, having fancy clothes, making up as Victoria's Secret's models or having a perfect hair. Remember, even the sweetest kittens have the sharpest nails.

A special moment

When someone asks me for a special moment, the first thing that appears in my mind (well, it never disappears) is the momento when I had to say “goodbye” to my boyfriend at the bus station In Madrid. It almost killed me, because I knew how much it would take until we could see each other again, four horrible months. Now he is in New York studying Bussiness, and I am aware of it. I accept it, but it is way too hard not to see the person you love. Thinking about that moment (one of the saddest moments in my life) makes me want to cry again and again. I am a very weak and emotional person, but it cheers me up to think that the more days go on, the less I have to wait. Although it is not the ideal relationship, I don´t mind to wait for him, and I will always do it.

What to say about the bullfight, that party Spanish people are so proud of. Basically , fortunately, each day there is more people who consider the expression "Hate the bullfight", is not enough. In a healthy mind, the idea of torturing an animal until he dies can not be admitted, while the ego of bullfighters grows along with the applause of, in my opinion, the ignorant people which like to watch that show. Everyone of us get shocked each time we see a dog being mistreated (I the first), any animal which might have been trounce can affect our heart, why not bulls? What have they done to us? It does not meant that I want bullfighters to die, but you know perfectly how they expose themselves when they go out there willing to get dirty with the blood of a beautiful animal of wild but innocent condition, which should be let to live calmed, instead of messing around with him risking their lives. Honestly, I feel embarrassed that Spanish people get recognized because of this "party", which I consider cruel, and infinitely inhuman.

Defend art!

It is so frustating to think that there are politics which want to eradicate artistic education. With this I mean that all that children are taught the first time they go to school it’s not usefull afterwards. We all have been showed how to draw properly without stepping out the border, and those houses with tres (sometimes, why not, a river or a pool) which made us feel true artists. We felt free, relaxed, and we could express ourselves.  Why not keep doing it for the rest of our lives?

For me, it’s such a twisted idea to snatch the only way where we can find ourselves, as it is the art, that it’s hard to believe to be true. Who hasn’t thought about starting an art class after a hard math exam? It is something inadmisible from my point of view. Art is with us every day, in different ways and levels, but it is always there.

We don’t all have the same artistic perception, but if you feel a mínimum of interest, you can´t deny that you would spend hours and hours staring at, for instance, a Jackson Pollock’s painting, while those insensible and unlearned, which seem to be the ones that don’t want to “waste Budget” in a wonderful thing as it is teaching and spread art in all its posible forms, think that it is just scribbles without any merit.

As Oscar Wilde said, “love the art itself and then everything else will be added into you”.
